News See How London Critics Reviewed West End Dreamgirls Glee star Amber Riley makes her West End stage debut as Effie White.

A new London production of the Henry Krieger-Tom Eyen Broadway musical Dreamgirls officially opened December 14 at the West End’s Savoy Theatre.

The cast is led by Amber Riley as Effie White, Ibinabo Jack as Lorrell Robinson, and Liisi LaFontaine as Deena Jones, making up the singing trio “The Dreams” in the show.

The Broadway director/choreographer Casey Nicholaw, currently represented in the West End by the transfers of The Book of Mormon and Aladdin, makes his London debut originating a new production.
