Watch Auditions from "American Idol" Contestants Who Made It To Broadway (Video) Fox's record-breaking reality competition "American Idol" will come to an end after its 15th season next year. Playbill.com takes a look back at contestants from the show who rose to fame and went on to play Broadway. Check out their auditions for "American Idol."

As previously announced, the show's 15th season will begin in January 2016.

Ryan Seacrest, who has been with the series since its inception, will again host. Judges will include Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr.
