All seven shows nominated for Best Musical and Best Revival of a Musical are scheduled to perform excerpts on the broadcast. Three musicals that were not nominated in either of those categories will also perform numbers.
In addition to her co-hosting duties, Chenoweth will perform with the cast of her show On the Twentieth Century; d’Arcy James, Borle and Oscar will perform with the cast of Something Rotten!; Rivera will perform with the cast of The Visit; and O’Hara and Watanabe will perform with the cast of The King and I.
The casts of On the Town, Fun Home and An American in Paris are also scheduled to perform.
In addition to the nominated shows, this year’s telecast will also feature performances by Vanessa Hudgens and the cast of Gigi; Matthew Morrison, Kelsey Grammer and the cast of Finding Neverland; and Tyne Daly, along with the cast of It Shoulda Been You.
