The 7:30 PM reading will feature the talents of Diana Canova, Colleen Zenk Pinter, Mark Pinter, Charles Keating, Kathryn Hays, Tom Wiggin and Sharone Sayegh. The 90-minute performance will be followed by a talk-back session with the actors and then a reception.

Portraits, according to press notes, is a "fictionalized account of seven disparate people affected by 9/11, whose first-person narratives deal with responses to the horrific tragedy from various points of view." The play was previously seen at the Union Square Theatre in 2003 in a production directed by Mark Pinter.

Best known for her portrayal of Corinne Tate in the sitcom "Soap," Diana Canova has appeared on Broadway in They're Playing Our Song and the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of Company. She has appeared in such regional productions as I Sent a Letter to My Love, Thumbs, A Little Night Music and Putting It Together as well as the Reprise! concert of I Do! I Do!. Canova's film credits include "The First Nudie Musical" and "One True Thing."
