Belafonte, who released solo albums in the 1980s and boasts over 30 screen credits, met and posed for photos with writer/performer Beaty and director Charles Randolph-Wright.
The solo work tells the story of six African-American males, ages 10-60, "who discover the power of possibility through one extraordinary event."
Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com or in person at The Union Square Theatre Box Office.
