Kathy Clark and Bradley Rosenberg will tie the knot during a performance of Washington, DC's long-running comedy, Shear Madness, Aug. 29.
Seeking a non-traditional wedding, the couple purchased the 399-seat Theatre Lab at the Kennedy Center for the night. Special roles will be written for Rosenberg and Clark, and the saying of their vows will be incorporated into the show.
The "Wedding Performance" of Shear Madness is sold out, tickets going to the friends and family of the couple. Tickets for other performances are available for $29-$25. For more information on the Kennedy Center, visit the Center's website at http://www.kennedy center.org.

Washington's Shear Madness, which celebrated its 5,000 performance June 24, is the third longest running production of a non musical in American theatre history (after productions of the same play in Boston and Chicago, respectively). The improvisational whodunit opened for a 12-week run Aug. 12, 1987 and has been playing ever since. This mounting of Paul Portner's farce transports the action of the play to present day Georgetown and the Shear Madness Hair Styling Salon at 3229 P Street, NW. The performance culminates nightly with an audience vote on who is guilty and who isn't.
