News Shinn Will Appear at LCT Dying City Discussion Christopher Shinn will appear at a Lincoln Center Theater Platform Series discussion in the lobby of the Vivian Beaumont Theater on March 28 at 6 PM, prior to the performance of the LCT production of his play Dying City.

Dying City is currently making its American premiere Off-Broadway at LCT's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater, where it began previews Feb. 15 and opened March 4.

Pablo Schreiber and Rebecca Brooksher star and James MacDonald directs. MacDonald also directed the play's world premiere at London's Royal Court Theatre in spring 2006.

Brooksher plays Kelly, a young therapist whose husband dies in the war in Iraq. One year later, the husband's identical twin brother (Schreiber) arrives at Kelly's door, looking for answers to questions about his brother's death.

Shinn's plays include Where Do We Live at the Vineyard Theatre (Obie Award for Playwriting), Four at Manhattan Theatre Club, What Didn't Happen and On the Mountain at Playwrights Horizons, The Coming World and Other People.

For the discussion, admission is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis only, beginning at 5:30 PM. Speakers and schedules are subject to change.
