Naked Angels has pushed back the first preview of its latest play, Shyster, to Nov. 18. The Bryan Goluboff comedy will now open at the Blue Heron Theatre on Nov. 29. The switch was reportedly made to accommodate the film-shooting schedules of the play's stars, Annabella Sciorra and Fisher Stevens.

Sciorra is best known for her film work, which includes Spike Lee's "Jungle Fever" and "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle." On the New York stage, she has appeared in David Rabe's Those the River Keeps.

Stevens, a Naked Angels founder, appeared in the Nicholas Hytner revival of Carousel, as well as Terrence McNally's A Perfect Ganesh. On film, he's been seen in "A Reversal of Fortune" and "The Flamingo Kid."

In Goluboff's play, a young man returns a week late for his father's funeral to find the building his dad owned has been inherited not by him, not by his militant sister, but by a young black tenant. Dante Albertie will direct.

After producing a play here, a play there, the tony ensemble Naked Angels began presenting theatre in earnest last season, and ended up with a surprise hit in David Marshall Grant's Snakebit. Shyster is a co-production with Evangeline Morphos.
