News Sicilian Bachelor Opens at American Renegade Theatre Nov. 20 The classic Italian farce, The Sicilian Bachelor, will open at the newly renovated American Renegade Theatre on Nov. 20 for a one-month run. The play, adapted from Nino Martoglio's L' Aria del Continente by Lou Cutell, Tino Trischitta and Norma Helms, is directed by T. J. Castrenovo.

The classic Italian farce, The Sicilian Bachelor, will open at the newly renovated American Renegade Theatre on Nov. 20 for a one-month run. The play, adapted from Nino Martoglio's L' Aria del Continente by Lou Cutell, Tino Trischitta and Norma Helms, is directed by T. J. Castrenovo.Cutell ("Will and Grace") and Tracy Scoggins ("Babylon 5") reprise their award-winning performances in the play. (The original 7-month run at Tiffany Theatre closed due to the 1992 L.A. riots). Cutell plays Don Cola Duscio, who returns home from abroad with his flirtatious, free-thinking girlfriend Millian Black, to the consternation of his provincial sister and the envy of his male buddies.
