Pippin Star Patina Miller Gets Engaged at Opening-Night Party Tony Award nominee Patina Miller, who stars as the Leading Player in the acclaimed Broadway revival of Pippin, said "yes" to boyfriend David Mars following the opening-night performance of Pippin on April 25. The couple was engaged at the show's after party in New York City.

Pippin Revival Opens on Broadway; Red Carpet Arrivals, Curtain Call and Cast Party

A spokesperson for the Tony-nominated actress confirmed to Playbill.com that early stage venture capitalist Mars proposed to Miller at the production's after party, held at Slate on West 21st Street in New York. Miller and Mars have been dating for just under two years.

Pippin, re-envisioned by Tony Award-nominated director Diane Paulus and circus artist Gypsy Snider, officially opened April 25, following previews that began March 23, at Broadway's Music Box Theatre.
