Running Sept. 26-Oct. 16, NYMF offers an array of over 30 new musicals in fully staged productions, readings and concert form. Numerous panels and ancillary events also round out the three-week programming for the eighth annual event.
A host of Broadway performers are already announced to take part in this year's festival including Andrea McArdle (Greenwood), Daisy Eagan (Ghostlight), Stephen Buntrock (The Brain That Wouldn't Die), Donna Lynne Champlin (Pride and Prejudice), Carly Rose Sonenclar (The Big Bank) and Brandon Wardell (Fucking Hipsters!).
NYMF also revealed that Tony Award-winning Book of Mormon and Avenue Q co-author Robert Lopez has been named the honorary chair of the 2011 festival.
In addition, NYMF has announced plans to switch from a fall run to a summer engagement in 2012, which will now be presented July 9-29, 2012. For tickets visit NYMF.
