News Skinner and Kennedy to Headline Long Wharf Opening Doors Gala Lauren Kennedy and Tony nominee Emily Skinner will headline Long Wharf Theatre's spring fundraiser Opening Doors, which is scheduled for June 5.

The gala evening will begin with a 5:30 PM cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by a performance from Kennedy and Skinner at 7 PM. Tickets for the fundraiser, priced $300-$1000, also include dinner.

Emily Skinner earned a Tony nomination for portraying Daisy Hilton in the Broadway production of Side Show. She has also appeared in the original Broadway productions of Jekyll & Hyde, James Joyce's The Dead, The Full Monty and Dinner at Eight. In addition to her cast albums, Skinner has released albums with her Side Show co-star Alice Ripley, including "Duets," "Unsuspecting Hearts" and "Skinner/Ripley Raw at Town Hall," as well as her own solo recording, "Emily Skinner."

Lauren Kennedy stood by for Skinner in the Broadway company of Side Show. Her Broadway credits include Sunset Boulevard, Les Miserables and Spamalot. Kennedy also starred in the Trevor Nunn production of South Pacific for the Royal National Theatre. Her solo recordings include "Here and Now" and "Lauren Kennedy: Songs Of Jason Robert Brown" for the PS Classics label.
