Manhattan Association of Cabaret award winner Richard Skipper will perform his one-man impersonation show, "An Evening with Carol Channing" at Don't Tell Mama on Sept. 22 and Oct. 13. Having already done his Skipper is currently performing his impersonation/tribute to Channing at the Aqua Turf Country Club in Plantsville, Conn.
An Evening with Carol Channing is directed by Thomas Morrissey, with musical direction and arrangements by David Maiocco & William Waldinger. Special material for the show was written by Jeff Matson and Michael Ogborn.
Skipper will play Channing at Don't Tell Mama, 343 West 46 St. on Sept. 22 and Oct. 13. There is a $20 Cover and a two drink minimum. For reservations and information call (212)757-0788.
