News Slava's Snowshow to Return to London's Royal Festival Hall for Christmas Season, Preceded by U.K. Tour The Olivier Award-winning Slava's Snowshow, which has previously enjoyed West End seasons at the Piccadilly Theatre and Old Vic, and played both Broadway and Off-Broadway, is to return to London for its fourth consecutive Christmas engagement at the Royal Festival Hall, beginning performances Dec. 17 prior to an official opening Dec. 18, for a run through Jan. 5, 2015.

Prior to its London run, it will also tour to Birmingham (Nov. 12-16), Woking (Nov. 19-23), Bath (Nov. 26-30), Edinburgh (Dec. 3-6) and Manchester (Dec. 9-13). Described in press materials as a combination of theatrical clowning and stunning visual spectacle, it is performed by an international company of clowns led by Slava Polunin, was recently appointed artistic director of the St. Petersburg Circus. Influenced by artists such as Chaplin, Marcel Marceau and Engibarov, Slava and his company have taken clowning out of the world of circus, and brought it to theatre lovers. Performed by an ensemble company, it is rarely known in advance which clowns will perform at which performance.
