News Sleep No More Announces Week-Long Carnival des Corbeaux Halloween Celebration The interactive Off-Broadway event Sleep No More has announced an upcoming celebration of Halloween that will begin Oct. 26 at the McKittrick Hotel.

The Halloween festival, titled Carnival des Corbeaux, is a six-night series of themed events. Each evening has its own costume theme, and Sleep No More guests are asked to strictly adhere. Patrons who do not arrive in costume will not be admitted, according to representatives.

A special party follows each evening performance of Sleep No More. Individuals who do not wish to attend Sleep No More, but would like to celebrate with Carnival des Corbeaux, may purchase separate party-only tickets.

The line-up follows:

Oct. 26: Le Charmeur de Serpent
"Let the animal kingdom inspire your dress for the evening. Feathered, furred, or scaled attire required."

Oct. 27: La Contorsionniste
"Throw modesty to the wind and flaunt your flesh. Come in your most glamorous and provocative attire." Oct. 28: La Femme a Barbe
"Unleash your alter ego of the opposite sex. For this night, dress in your gender-bending finery."

Oct. 29: La Clairvoyante
"Conjure the spirits of the dark side. Dress as sorcerers, witches, fortune-tellers and other bohemian creature of the night."

Oct. 30: Les Sœurs Siamoises
"On this night, bring along your identical twin. And make sure you stay side-by-side. Triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets and beyond are most welcome."

Oct. 31: Le Sorcier
"On All Hallows Eve, the choice is yours. Come dressed as the carnival denizen of your choice."

Punchdrunk artistic director Felix Barrett directed and designed the production, which is loosely based on Shakespeare's Macbeth. Sleep No More is presented at a redesigned commercial space located at 530 West 27th Street that formerly served as a Chelsea nightclub. The production opened to critical acclaim April 13, 2011.

Sleep No More takes a non-linear approach to its storytelling, allowing theatregoers to freely explore the dark environment, where scenes, tableaux and scenarios play out, conjuring the world and themes of Shakespeare's bloody tale. Audience members don masks and must be silent during the experience. Participants are encouraged to open drawers, pull back curtains, read private notes and journals as they navigate the shadowy, music-filled world.

The production has co-direction and choreography by Maxin Doyle and sound design by Stephen Dobbie. Design associates are Beatrice Minns and Livi Vaughan.

The New York debut of Sleep No More is presented by Emursive's Randy Weiner (The Donkey Show), Arthur Karpati and Jonathan Hochwald, in association with Rebecca Gold Productions.
