PlayBlog "So You Think You Can Dance" Joins "Glee" as Ratings Champ for Week of June 8 As previously reported, "Glee"’s spring season finale June 8 was the highest-rated finale of any new scripted show this season, scoring a 4.7 rating with 18-49 year olds and 11.1 million viewers, according to a Fox press release.


But Fox had another theatre-related ratings champ with the two-hour June 9 live reality show, "So You Think You Can Dance." The dance competition won the night with a 3.0 18-49 rating and 8.1 million viewers.

The show’s alums include Any Garnis and Neil Haskell, who later appeared on Broadway in Burn the Floor, and Pasha Kovalev, whose stage credits include Altar Boyz, 9 to 5 and The Times They Are A-Chaingin’. Tony nominee Karine Plantadit and her Come Fly Away costar, Keith Roberts (Movin’ Out), will perform “That’s Life” on the June 17 results show.

“So You Think You Can Dance” airs Wednesdays at 8 PM ET on Fox, with results shows airing at 9 PM ET on Thursdays. “Glee” repeats currently air at 8 PM ET on Thursdays. Check local listings.
