News Soho Playhouse Summer Series Launches June 18 with Amy Wilson's Mother Load Producers Scott Morfee and Darren Lee Cole present "Summer Solos Series," solo performances and shows by acclaimed playwrights and performers, June 18-Aug. 4 at the Soho Playhouse in Manhattan.

The series kicks off with mother load, written and performed by Amy Wilson. Julie Kramer directs.

Among the other artists who will offer solo shows are Nilaja Sun, Aasif Mandvi, Adam Rapp, Heather Raffo, Stephen Payne and Glen Berger. All shows begin at 8 PM, and following each performance is a brief reception with the artist in the Huron Club, located inside the Soho Playhouse.

In addition to the solo shows a special benefit performance of Spalding Gray: Stories Left To Tell will be presented July 16. Proceeds will benefit the Spalding Gray Scholarship Fund.

The "Summer Solos Series" runs in conjunction with the solo production of Krapp 39, written and performed by Michael Laurence and directed by George Demas, currently in performance at the Soho Playhouse.

The Soho Playhouse is located at 15 Vandam Street, one block north of Spring Street, just west of 6th Avenue.
