News Songwriter Scott Alan Will Make Barcelona Concert Debut; Guests Announced May will be a busy month for songwriter Scott Alan, whose musicals include Detour and the forthcoming Home.

After selling out three upcoming concerts at London's St. James Studios (May 4-6), where he will be joined by The Color Purple’s Cynthia Erivo, and a solo concert May 3 at the U.K.'s St. James Theatre, the acclaimed composer-lyricist will make his Barcelona debut May 11.

Titled Scott Alan: Barcelona & Friends, the 9 PM concert, under the artistic direction of Daniel Anglès, will be held at L’Auditori in Barcelona. Alan will be joined by special guests Madalena Alberto, from the West End, as well as Nina, Julia Möller, Gisela and Daniel Anglès.

Attendees can expect to hear tunes from the composer's six albums as well as his upcoming West End musical Home.

Alan's songs have been recorded by Shoshana Bean, Kerry Ellis, Eden Espinosa, Samantha Barks, Liz Callaway and Stephanie J. Block, among many others. Some of his many recordings include "Keys," "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up" and "LIVE."
