News Sopranos" Star Confirmed for Bway's Graduate Beginning Nov. 19 Lorraine Bracco, who plays Dr. Jennifer Melfi on the acclaimed HBO series "The Sopranos," will join the Broadway company of The Graduate on Nov. 19. Bracco will replace Kathleen Turner as the infamous Mrs. Robinson; Turner's final performance is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 17.

Lorraine Bracco, who plays Dr. Jennifer Melfi on the acclaimed HBO series "The Sopranos," will join the Broadway company of The Graduate on Nov. 19. Bracco will replace Kathleen Turner as the infamous Mrs. Robinson; Turner's final performance is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 17. Bracco, a three-time Emmy Award nominee for her "Sopranos" role, will be the latest actress to bare all eight times a week at the Plymouth Theatre. (Former "Dallas" star Linda Gray recently stepped in for Turner during her vacation.) This will mark the Broadway debut for actress Bracco, who also received an Academy Award nomination for her work in "Goodfellas." Her other screen credits include roles in "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues," "Silent Cradle," "Riding in Cars with Boys" and "Tangled."

Jason Biggs, the star of the "American Pie" films, will also depart the Broadway production Nov. 17. His replacement is expected to be announced shortly. Biggs portrays Benjamin Braddock, the role created memorably on screen by Dustin Hoffman.

Set in California in the 1960's, The Graduate — based on the classic film of the same name — plays The Plymouth Theatre (236 W. 45th Street). Tickets — ranging from $21.25 to $81.25 — are available through Telecharge by calling (212) 239-6200.
