Variety reports that George Clooney will likely star as Navy lawyer Charles Swift, who joined forces with Georgetown University law professor Neal Katyal to ensure a fair trial for Guantanamo Bay prisoner Salim Hamdan. Hamdan was Osama bin Laden's driver. Clooney may also direct the film that he is co-producing with Grant Heslov.
