News South Coast's Pacific Fest Features Rebeck, Lindsay-Abaire, Goldfarb, June 15-25 South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, CA, offers a ten-play schedule for its third Annual Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF) June 15-25. The two-weekend event includes two workshop productions, seven staged readings, and a performance of The Education of Randy Newman, which is currently on SCR's mainstage (May 26-July 2). The Festival also incorporates SCR's Hispanic Playwrights Project.

South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, CA, offers a ten-play schedule for its third Annual Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF) June 15-25. The two-weekend event includes two workshop productions, seven staged readings, and a performance of The Education of Randy Newman, which is currently on SCR's mainstage (May 26-July 2). The Festival also incorporates SCR's Hispanic Playwrights Project.

The two workshop productions will each have two preview and three regular performances on the Second Stage. They are The End of It All by Cusi Cram, directed by Juliette Carrillo; and Fighting Words by Sunil Kuruvilla, directed by Martin Benson.

The readings include Hortensia and the Museum of Dreams by Nilo Cruz; Vieques by Jorge Gonzalez; Kimberly Akimbo by David Lindsay-Abaire (Fuddy Meers); The Butterfly Collection by Theresa Rebeck (Spike Heels); The Beard of Avon Amy Freed; Modern Orthodoxy by Daniel Goldfarb (Adam Baum and the Jew Movie); and Tom Walker by John Strand.
