On Aug. 13 and 20, Billy Elliot cast members will demonstrate nutritious recipes from the Common Threads Cookbook that kids can prepare themselves. The demonstrations will take place at 12 noon at various Whole Foods Markets throughout the city.
On Aug. 21, cast members and ballet and boxing instructors will demonstrate fun ballet and boxing activities, with prizes offered, in Pritzker Park. The free event starts at 10 AM.
On Sept. 11 at 11:30 AM and Sept. 18 at 10 AM, cast members will model the hottest new back-to-school fashion trends at area Bloomingdale's stores.
