The weekly live talkfest, which includes interviews and performances from Broadway stars, is held at 6 PM at the New York cabaret Don't Tell Mama. There is a $10 donation and a two-drink minimum. The donation goes directly to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the nation's leading industry-based, not-for-profit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson appeared on Broadway in the Public Theater's revival of On the Town. His other theatrical credits include Where Do We Live, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Little Fish, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) and newyorkers as well as the City Center Encores! production of Hair. Ferguson's screen credits include "Absolutely Fabulous," "Sally Hemings: An American Scandal," "Ordinary Sinner" and "Mercury in Retrograde."
William Finn earned a Tony Award for his Falsettos score, the two-act musical featuring March of the Falsettos (Act One) and Falsettoland (Act Two). He is also the composer of Elegies: A Song Cycle, In Trousers, Romance in Hard Times and A New Brain. Finn's current musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, is currently in previews at Second Stage, 307 West 43rd Street. The musical, which features a book by James Lapine, will official open Feb. 7.
Creator and host of Seth's Broadway Chatterbox, Seth Rudetsky has served as a pit pianist and/or conductor for such Broadway shows as 42nd Street, The Full Monty, The Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia! and The Producers. He also conceived the idea for the recent all-star Hair concert to benefit the Actors' Fund of America as well as the three previous benefit concerts, Chess, Funny Girl and Dreamgirls. Rudetsky was a member of the comedy writing team for "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" for two years, and his awards include the Duplex's Stars of Tomorrow, the Backstage Bistro and the Funniest Gay Male in New York. He was also the author and star of the recent one man, GLAAD nominated show Rhapsody in Seth.
