PBS stations in the metropolitan New York area will rebroadcast "My Favorite Broadway: The Love Songs" on Nov. 28.
WNET/Thirteen, which originally aired the musical evening in March 2001, will rebroadcast the acclaimed 90 minute special at 8 PM ET. Check local listings.
Academy Award winner Julie Andrews hosts the tribute to Broadway love songs, which was taped live at New York's City Center and featured the talents of Michael Crawford, Linda Eder, Peter Gallagher, Robert Goulet, Heather Headley, Nathan Lane, Rebecca Luker, Barry Manilow, Marin Mazzie, Bebe Neuwirth, Adam Pascal, Chita Rivera, Brent Spiner, Three Mo' Tenors, and Tom Wopat. Among the program's offerings are Nathan Lane's "Sue Me"; Heather Headley and Adam Pascal's duet of Aida's "Elaborate Lives"; Rebecca Luker's rendition of Lerner and Lane's "Too Late Now"; and Tom Wopat's "Lullaby of Broadway."
