Classic Arts News St. Louis Symphony Names Principal Clarinetist and Cellist The St. Louis Symphony has appointed Scott Andrew principal clarinetist and Daniel Lee principal cellist, the orchestra announced.
Andrew is currently second clarinetist for the Boston Symphony. He previously played with the Gardner Chamber Orchestra, New England Chamber Orchestra, and Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra. He played with the SLSO as a guest principal in 2004.

Lee has been principal cellist for the San Diego Symphony since 2004. An experienced soloist while still in his teens, he joined the San Diego Symphony directly from the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia. He is also a pianist and the winner of several piano competitions.
