Here, via email, we hear from three-time Tony nominee Dee Hoty, who is currently starring in the Broadway revival of Gigi at the Neil Simon Theatre.

What show recently impressed you?
Most recently, The Curious Incident… impressed me. What a magical evening in the theatre; I'm still thinking about it. And Fun Home — I need to go back, it was so full, I couldn't quite process it! Also, I loved The City of Conversation at Lincoln Center. The play was so well written, and I hope there is a future for it. Jan Maxwell was fabulous. (I also really liked Fly By Night at Playwrights. It's a musical that I believe Peter Friedman was just Drama Desk-nominated for. I liked it so much I went back twice.)

What production are you most excited to see?
Last season I was delighted by A Gentleman's Guide… This year I am excited to see The Visit. Long live Chita!!!

What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
I would love to play Regina in The Little Foxes. (Trust me, I know it will never happen, but a girl can dream....!) I would also love to do the play Auntie Mame. And play Mame.

What are your current/upcoming projects?
My current project is playing Aunt Alicia in Gigi! I am having the time of my life, and am completely grateful.
