News Star of Off-Broadway's Gay Wedding Set for TV Appearance June 25 James Getzlaff, who stars in Off-Broadway's My Big Gay Italian Wedding, will guest on the WB "Morning News" show June 25.

Getzlaff, who searched for love on the hit reality series "Boy Meets Boy," will chat with Emily Frances about his new stage role. The "Morning News" program airs in the metropolitan area on Channel 11; Getzlaff's appearance is scheduled for 7:40 AM ET; check local listings.

In Gay Italian Wedding Getzlaff plays Andrew Polinski , one of the two grooms in the comedy at Theatre Four. Written by Anthony Wilkinson, My Big Gay Italian Wedding concerns the obstacles that Anthony (Anthony Wilkinson) and Andrew (Getzlaff) face while planning their nuptials.

According to production notes, "Anthony insists on a big, traditional Italian wedding—but there are a few problems. Anthony's family won't give their blessing unless he can fulfill two requirements: the ceremony is to be performed by a priest, and Andrew's estranged mother in Florida must give her blessing too. To further complicate matters, Andrew's ex-boyfriend is intent on breaking the couple up by revealing a recent indiscretion."

James Getzlaff has appeared in productions of Damn Yankees, Play On and The Dining Room. He recently toured with Lullaby of Broadway and also appeared on the History Channel's "St. Paul."

My Big Gay Italian Wedding plays Fridays at 10 PM and Saturdays at 3 PM. Theatre Four is located at 424 West 55th Street, west of Ninth Avenue. Tickets are priced at $47 and are available by calling (212) 239-6200.
