The advance track is Block's duet with her 9 to 5 composer Dolly Parton, "I Will Always Love You." The song, which was a hit for both Parton and later Whitney Houston, was also penned by Parton.

As previously announced, Block's new recording will be available digitally May 12 and in stores June 2 on the PS Classics label. The album is produced by its music director, Dominick Amendum.

In addition to Parton, the disc also boasts an array of award-winning musical theatre songwriters: Composer Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime) accompanies Block for the recording premiere of "Something Beautiful"; Stephen Schwartz assumes the piano on "Making Good," a song cut from Wicked; and Marvin Hamlisch not only accompanies but arranges his own "Smart Women," which was cut from the play with music Imaginary Friends.

Also expect songs by Deborah Abramson, Scott Alan, Zina Goldrich, Marcy Heisler, Andrew Lippa, Paul Loesel, Steve Marzullo and Claude-Michel Schonberg. In the liner notes for "This Place I Know," Block says, "Hearing a composer play their own music is an extraordinary experience... one that is very personal. It's almost like you are listening in on a secret. I wanted to bring that experience to the recording studio. I asked some of my favorite composers and lyricists to not only lend me their music, but to perform with me on this album."
