A website devoted to the life and works of composer/lyricist Stephen Schwartz has been launched at www.stephenschwartz.com.The site contains information on stage projects including Godspell, Pippin, The Magic Show, Children of Eden, and includes material on Schwartz' Disney films Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, as well as downloadable sound clips from his recent album, Reluctant Pilgrim.
Webmaster Ron McGowan said he hopes to make the site part of a "Songwriter's Hub" on the internet which, he said, would feature, "chat forums, BBS discussion groups, etc." for Schwartz "and many other songwriters regarding the art of songwriting, musical theater, etc."
