PlayBlog Stream Audio of Parisian A Little Night Music For those of us who didn't make the flight across the Atlantic to catch A Little Night Music at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, the music still plays on.


Radio France is broadcasting an audio recording of the Stephen Sondheim-Hugh Wheeler musical that starred Greta Scacchi as Desiree Armfeldt, Leslie Caron as Madame Armfeldt and Lambert Wilson as Fredrik Egerman.

Lee Blakeley directed the English-language production that ran Feb. 15-20. Based on Ingmar Bergman's "Smiles of a Summer Night," the waltz-kissed musical centers on the romantic trysts of fading stage actress Desiree Armfeldt over the course of a weekend in the country.
