The partnership allows users to look like the new musical’s cosmetic trailblazers.

Want to look like Helena Rubinstein or Elizabeth Arden, the makeup titans and subjects of the Broadway musical War Paint, starring two-time Tony winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole?

Perfect Corp. has partnered with the new show on the app YouCam Makeup to “deliver a one-of-a-kind, Broadway-inspired beauty experience.” The characters’ signature looks from the musical are coded into YouCam Makeup so fans can try them on virtually through their mobile device.

Users, if interested, can then browse through a selection of beauty products that will enable them to bring the look to life in their own home.

“Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden were innovators, pioneers in their own right. It’s fitting that in telling their story today, we are finding cutting-edge ways to celebrate and expand upon their contributions,” said War Paint producer David Stone in a statement. “Our collaboration with YouCam provides another way for audiences to extend their War Paint experience beyond the theatre, and for people around the world to engage with the legacy of Arden and Rubinstein.”

“Perfect Corp. is honored to be an official partner of the Broadway musical War Paint,” added Perfect Corp. CEO, Alice Chang. “We are constantly looking for out-of-the-box partnerships that allow us to showcase YouCam’s unprecedented facial recognition technology and offer beauty fans a unique entertainment experience. Collaborating with War Paint was a beautiful way to do exactly that, bringing the iconic looks of beauty moguls, Rubinstein and Arden, to virtual reality.”
