News Susan Egan Is "All Knocked Up" Nov. 12-13 at the Metropolitan Room Broadway's original Belle, Susan Egan, will play Manhattan's new cabaret space, the Metropolitan Room, Nov. 12-13.

The singing actress will perform her new concert act, which is titled All Knocked Up — yes, she is pregnant. Show times are Nov. 12 at 9:30 PM and Nov. 13 at 7 PM. She will be backed by musical director Christopher McGovern on piano. About her new show, Egan recently told Playbill.com, "[We will] feature songs from my new CD, funny 'road' tunes from the 80 concerts Chris and I have done this past year; and some 'new' material — known Broadway tunes that mean a whole new thing if you happen to be fat and pregnant singing them! The feel of the night is definitely not 'I'm expecting a baby' sentimental. We're going towards the ridiculous instead." Susan Egan received Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations for her work in Beauty and the Beast, and her other theatre credits include Thoroughly Modern Millie, Cabaret, Triumph of Love, Putting It Together and Hello Again. Her debut solo recording was titled "So Far" and includes tunes from her many theatrical outings; her second solo disc is entitled "Coffee House."

The Metropolitan Room is located in Manhattan at 34 West 22nd Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. There is a $25 cover charge ($15 for students) and a two-drink minimum; call (212) 206-0440 for reservations.
