Today Is My Birthday will run through December 23 with an opening night on December 7. Fagan and Stanton first began developing the play at the Sundance Institute Theater Lab in 2015, and it has since gone on to be selected for the Kilroys’ List and earn Stanton a Lark Venturous Playwright Fellowship.

Today Is My Birthday follows Emily, a writer who returns home to Hawaii after an unsuccessful stint in Manhattan. Back in O’ahu, she stumbles into a gig playing an actor on a shock-jock radio dating show, where the temptation to turn fantasy into reality begins to take over. “Told through a playful mix of phone calls, voicemails, and live radio spots, Today Is My Birthday is a comedy about loneliness in the age of connection,” read production notes.

A full design team and cast will be announced at a later date.

Tickets will be available October 2 at Page73.org or by calling (866) 811-4111.
