The Public Theater’s Master Writer Chair, Suzan-Lori Parks, returns to the Off-Broadway theatre March 5 with her newest work White Noise, a new play about race, friendship, and our rapidly unraveling social contract. Artistic Director Oskar Eustis directs the debut production.

In White Noise, four long-time friends navigate a racially motivated incident with the cops which leaves one of them shaken. The cast is made up of Hamilton Tony winner Daveed Diggs, Sheria Irving (Romeo and Juliet on Broadway), Thomas Sadoski (Life in Pieces), and Zoë Winters (Last Match).

She has penned the screenplays for the films, currently in production, The United States vs. Billie Holiday and an adaptation of Richard Wright’s Native Son.
