The two-hour documentary, about the life of the late performance artist, fashion designer and singer, will debut on the pop culture network Oct. 31 at 9 PM ET. Bowery is one of two artists — the other is Boy George — whose lives are explored in the new musical Taboo. Both were fixtures of the eighties London club scene.

The TRIO documentary explores the early life of Bowery and also includes footage of the artist in and out of the club scene. Boy George, who portrays Bowery in the new musical at the Plymouth Theatre, was interviewed for the program.

Taboo officially opens at the Plymouth — 236 West 45th Street — Nov. 13. Tickets, priced between $80 and $100, are available through Telecharge, (212) 239-6200. For more information about the musical, visit www.tabooonbroadway.com.
