News TADA! Youth Theater Announces 2009 Season of Musicals Golly Gee Whiz!, Everything About a Family (Almost) and The Little House of Cookies are the three musical productions that will comprise the 2009 TADA! Youth Theater season.

The first musical presented will be Golly Gee Whiz!, running Jan. 9-Feb. 15, 2009. Joanna Greer directs and choreographs the musical with a book and music by Eric Rockwell and book and lyrics by Joanne Bogart. Jim Colleran will musical direct.

Next up is Everything About a Family (Almost), running April 17-May 17, 2009. TADA! executive and artistic director Janine Nina Trevens directs the latest installment in the Everything About series that is conceived and co-authored by TADA!'s resident youth ensemble.

TADA! will also offer the 25th anniversary production of The Little House of Cookies, running July 10-Aug. 1, 2009. Adapted from Eleanor Clymer's "The Tiny Little House," the musical features a book by Janine Nina Trevens with music and lyrics by Joel Gelpe.

Founded in 1984, TADA! is a non-profit youth theatre that produces original musicals performed by New York City kids ages 8-18 for family audiences. It features a year-round Resident Youth Ensemble composed of over 70 New York City kids ages 8-18; renowned education programs in more than 47 public schools; theatre classes taught by professional teaching artists; and an annual one-act playwriting contest and free staged reading series geared towards teen actors and audiences.
