The musical penned by composer Sondheim and book writer John Weidman tells the life of the eccentric Mizner brothers.

The single-disc recording of Road Show, featuring augmented orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick, is aiming for a spring in-store arrival, PS Classics co-founder Tommy Krasker told Playbill.com.

PS Classics and Nonesuch Records previously united to record the Grammy-nominated cast album of the 2006 Broadway revival of Company. Krasker also co-produced the Nonesuch Records world-premiere recording of Road Show's earlier incarnation, Bounce, which played out-of-town engagements in Chicago and Washington, DC in 2004.

While a complete track list has not been announced, the song list for the Public Theater production of Road Show included "Waste," "It's In Your Hands Now," "Gold!," "Brotherly Love," "The Game," "Addison's Trip," "That Was a Year," "Isn't He Something!," "Land Boom!," "Talent," "You," "The Best Thing That Ever Has Happened," "The Game (reprise)," "Addison's City," "Boca Raton," "Get Out," "Go" and "Finale."

Tony-winning Sweeney Todd director John Doyle helmed the Public Theater world premiere of Road Show. The cast featured Tony winner Michael Cerveris and Alexander Gemignani as the eccentric Wilson and Addison Mizner, respectively, as well as Alma Cuervo as Mama, William Parry as Papa, Claybourne Elder as Hollis and ensemble members Aisha de Haas, Colleen Fitzpatrick, Mylinda Hull, Mel Johnson, Jr., Orville Mendoza, Anne L. Nathan, Tom Nelis, Matt Stocke, William Youmans and Kristine Zbornik. Featuring a book by John Weidman, Road Show spans 40 years of American history, from the Gold Rush to the Florida real-estate boom in the 1930's. Press notes for the work read: "Road Show is the story of two brothers whose quest for the American dream turns into a test of morality and judgment that changes their lives in unexpected ways."

Road Show began performances at the Public Oct. 28, 2008, and officially opened Nov. 18. The production concluded its extended run Dec. 28, 2008.
