Two-time Tony Award nominee Tammy Blanchard (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Gypsy) has been tapped for the upcoming Broadway revival of Eugene O'Neill's The Iceman Cometh, according to Deadline. As previously announced, Tony and Oscar winner Denzel Washington will star as Hickey in the George C. Wolfe-helmed production.

Performances will begin at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre March 22. The limited run is scheduled for 14 weeks only with an April 26 official opening.

Blanchard would play Cora, one of the three sex workers who frequents Harry Hope’s saloon, where O'Neill's classic play unfurls. Lives are upended by the arrival of a newly sober Hickey, a charismatic traveling salesman who visits twice a year.

Playbill has reached out to a representative for the show for further comment.

Blanchard earned Tony nominations for her performances in both the 2003 revival of Gypsy (as Louise) and the 2011 revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (as Hedy La Rue). On screen, she recently appeared in the Netflix original film Tallulah, as well as the 2014 film adaptation of Sondheim’s Into the Woods. She is a Golden Globe and Emmy nominee for her performance as a young Judy Garland in Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows.

Producer Scott Rudin, who is behind the upcoming revival, also produced a 2015 Off-Broadway revival at the Brooklyn Academy of Music starring Nathan Lane.
