News   Taye Diggs Lands Recurring Role in New Fox Series "Rosewood"
Fox has announced that stage and screen star Taye Diggs, who was last seen on Broadway in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, will guest star in a recurring role in the new drama series "Rosewood," starting in November.

Diggs, who was featured last fall in "The Good Wife," is set to play Dr. Mike Boyce, a world-famous infectious disease doctor and best friend to the series' lead character, Dr. Rosewood, played by Morris Chestnut ("The Perfect Guy," "Will & Grace"). The show follows "brilliant" and "cool" Miami-based Rosewood and his work with the Miami PD in discovering the secrets hidden in patients' bodies.

The casting of Diggs marks a reunion for him and Chestnut, as the two were featured together in the films "The Best Man" and "The Best Man Holiday."

The next episode of "Rosewood" will air Oct. 14, guest-starring Adrian Pasdar as a doctor suspected of killing his two patients. The series comes from executive producer Todd Harthan ("Psych," "Dominion") and also stars Lorraine Toussaint ("Orange is the New Black").
