It appears its time for a Renee Taylor-Joseph Bologna retrospective. The husband and wife writing and acting team are aiming for Broadway in their latest, If You Ever Leave Me, I'm Going With You: An Evening With Renee and Joe, a production composed of scenes from the duo's earlier plays. No Broadway dates or theatre have been announced.

Among the comedies featured in If You Ever Leave Me are It Had to Be You, Lovers and Other Strangers, and Bermuda Avenue Triangle, which had a six-month run at the Promenade Theatre in 1997. The show begins its pre-Broadway run July 9-12 and 16-19 at the Lee Strasberg School in Los Angeles, CA. All the proceeds to these benefit performances will go to the L.A. Free Clinic, the University of Judaism and American for Democratic Action.

Following the Strasberg dates, If You Ever Leave Me will fill the New West Hampton Beach Theater Aug. 1 & 2. Spokesperson Dick Guttman said much depended on the shooting schedule in the sitcom "The Nanny," in which Taylor plays Fran Drescher's mother. Still, he said that New York could possibly see the show this coming winter.
