Classic Arts News Tenor Vinson Cole to Replace Paul Groves at Upcoming Atlanta Symphony Concerts Tenor Vinson Cole will replace Paul Groves, who has a severe cold, for performances with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra tonight, Saturday and Sunday (November 2, 4 and 5).
Groves was scheduled to perform Britten's Serenade for Tenor, Horn, and Strings with the ASO and Donald Runnicles at the Woodruff Arts Center.

Vinson Cole has appeared with many leading orchestras and under the direction of conductors including Herbert von Karajan, Georg Solti, Simon Rattle, Kurt Masur and James Levine. He has performed major roles at the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Opéra national de Paris, La Scala, and at opera houses in Berlin, Vienna and Hamburg. Cole is currently on the faculty of the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston.
