Part of the company's Literary Supplement series, the free 7:30 PM event will be performed at The Cherry Lane Theatre. TFANA associate artistic director Arin Arbus directs.
Roman playwright Publius Terentius Afer (also known as Terence) penned The Self-Tormentor, which follows the "story of two neighbors of opposite temperaments and their contrasting troubles with their sons," as show notes reveal.
The cast will feature Cheryl Lynn Bowers, Arnie Burton, Joe Grifasi, John Lavelle, Peter Maloney, Melissa Miller and Myra Lucretia Taylor.
"The Literary Supplement" series — which focuses on the company's mainstage season theme "Africa, Europe, America - Exploring the Connections" — will continue with Nobel Prize-winning Nigerian playwright Wole Soyinka's The Swamp Dwellers (April 14). Feingold serves as curator for the series produced by Theatre for a New Audience's associate artistic director Arin Arbus.
