The Tony nominations for the 2017–2018 season will be announced May 1 at 8:30 AM ET by Tony winner Leslie Odom, Jr. and Waitress star Katharine McPhee. The moment marks the button on the Broadway season, but the start of awards season, which includes the races for the Obies, the Lortels, the Chita Riveras, the Drama League, the Outer Critics Circle, and the Drama Desks.

Still, we know that Nominations Day can be an emotional rollercoaster for Broadway’s biggest fans.

Here are the five stages we all know are about to begin:

1. ANTICIPATION
Is it 8:30 yet?!? I mean... �� how does an actor, artist, host of the noms and a winner dropped in the middle of a broadcasted spot in the Theatre District by Theatre Wing in company with Kat McPhee show to be announcing like a baller?

2. OVER-EXCITEMENT

3. PRIDE
When your fave gets nominated and your heart bursts and you’re just....

4. FRUSTRATION
But then you realize someone you totally believes deserves it but their name wasn’t called and isn’t this a mistake because how could they not. get. nominated?!

5. ACCEPTANCE
Realization that it was a hell of a season and you need to calm down because it’s six more weeks until the Tonys actually air on June 10 and is it June 10 yet?!
