Maroulis, who was also a finalist on FOX-TV's "American Idol," will be the evening's special guest on Feb. 9. The singing actor is scheduled to perform a few tunes at the weekly event. Hosted by Brandon Cutrell and Alysha Umphress, "The After Party" features Ray Fellman at the piano. Cabaret favorite Lisa Asher is also now part of the "Party" mix — Asher will pour drinks and perform during the evening where amateurs and professionals are invited to take turns at the open mic. The "Party" begins at 10:30 PM and continues to 2 AM.

A Brooklyn native, Constantine Maroulis is a graduate of both the Boston Conservatory and the Berklee College of Music. He trained as an apprentice at the Williamstown Theatre Festival and appeared as Roger in a tour of Rent. In addition to his performances on "American Idol," he has also been seen on "Law & Order: SVU" and in several independent films. Maroulis also played a recent engagement at the Public Theater's Joe's Pub as well as a stint in The Wedding Singer.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within the West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street. There is no cover charge or minimum for "The After Party."
