News "The After Party" Welcomes Fame Becomes Me's Vivino March 30 "The After Party," billed as "an informal social gathering for the theatrically inclined," welcomes Fame Becomes Me's Donna Vivino March 30.

Vivino, who also originated the role of Young Cosette in the original Broadway production of Les Misérables, will be the evening's special guest. The singing actress is scheduled to perform a few tunes at the weekly event. Hosted by Brandon Cutrell and Alysha Umphress, "The After Party" at the Laurie Beechman Theatre features Ray Fellman at the piano. Cabaret favorite Lisa Asher is also part of the "Party" mix — Asher will pour drinks and perform during the evening where amateurs and professionals are invited to take turns at the open mic. The "Party" begins at 10:30 PM and continues to 2 AM.

Donna Vivino's Broadway credits include the original production of Les Misérables as well as Saturday Night Fever, Hairspray and Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me. She was also part of the world-premiere cast of The Opposite of Sex in San Francisco and was seen in the film "Married to It."

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within the West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street. There is no cover charge or minimum for "The After Party."
