Husband and wife thesps Dylan and Becky Ann Baker will headline the Williamstown Theatre Festival's annual Cabaret July 15-17 at the 1896 House, at Routes 7 & 2 in Williamstown. They will not be performing together, but they will appear one after another. Dylan will first try his hand at the Randy Newman standard "I Love L.A.," after which Becky Ann will lend her voice to "Nevertheless (I'm in Love with You)."
A number of other actors, some not necessarily known for their singing, will also be featured in the Cabaret. Kate Burton, for instance, will give voice to the bluesy Al Green classic "Take Me to the River." Andrea Martin will no doubt deliver a cheeky rendition of her planned "Besame Mucho." Following is the song list for this year's event:
Act I:
"Try a Little Tenderness" (Harry Woods-Jimmy Campbell-Reg Connelly), sung by Christopher Fitzgerald, with Kate Burton and Katie MacNichol
"Don't Go to Strangers" (Arthur Kent-Dave Mason-Redd Evans), sung by Christopher Fitzgerald
