Four alums of the Tony-winning Jersey Boys will return to the musical when it heads Off-Broadway this fall.
The New World Stages production will star Aaron De Jesus as Frankie Valli, Nicolas Dromard as Tommy DeVito, Mark Edwards as Nick Massi, and Cory Jeacoma as Bob Gaudio. Additional casting will be announced shortly.
Performances will begin November 22 at the midtown venue’s Stage 1 space. Tickets will go on sale September 22.
De Jesus previously appeared in the show in Las Vegas and as part of the second national tour. His additional credits include the first national tour of Wicked. Dromard first took on the role of Tommy DeVito on the national tour before going on to reprise his performance on Broadway, eventually becoming a part of the final Broadway cast. Edwards also hails from the second national tour, having served as a swing. Jeacoma recently concluded the national tour of Jersey Boys as Bob Gaudio, ending his run in July.
The musical, which tells the behind-the-music story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, opened in 2005 at Broadway’s August Wilson Theatre, where it enjoyed a run of over 11 years. Its move to Off-Broadway was first announced in August.
