News THE SCREENING ROOM: Highlights from Carousel Concert, With Kelli O'Hara, Nathan Gunn and Jessie Mueller (Video) PBS "Live from Lincoln Center" will broadcast the New York Philharmonic's acclaimed concert presentation of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic Carousel on April 26. Playbill.com has a look at highlights from the event.

The musical centers on a tempestuous love affair between gruff carnival barker Billy Bigelow, played by Nathan Gunn (Camelot, Show Boat, Billy Budd), and young millworker Julie Jordan, played by four-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara (The Light in the Piazza, South Pacific, Far from Heaven).

Tony Award winner John Rando (Urinetown, A Christmas Story) directed the Feb. 27-March 2 engagement that featured Rob Fisher (Encores!, Anything Goes) conducting the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. Warren Carlyle (Chaplin, Follies) choreographed the concert staging. 

The staging will be broadcast on "Live from Lincoln Center" April 26 at 9 PM ET on PBS.
