In advance of the premiere, HBO has shared a song from the documentary for Playbill.com readers. "Six By Sondheim" is directed by Tony winner James Lapine, with musical segments directed by Todd Haynes, Autumn de Wilde and Lapine.
It features performances by Tony winner Audra McDonald, Jarvis Cocker, Darren Criss, Jeremy Jordan, America Ferrera and Sondheim, which have have been produced for the feature documentary.

Directed and choreographed by Justin Peck, the show previously played an Off-Broadway premiere at Park Avenue Armory.
