News THE SCREENING ROOM: Over 20 Stars, Including Audra McDonald, Sutton Foster, Hugh Jackman, Visit "Sesame Street" (Video) Five-time Tony Award-winning actress Audra McDonald recently appeared on the 43rd season of "Sesame Street" alongside Elmo, the furry and friendly red Muppet who stars in the new musical segment "Elmo the Musical."

McDonald, who appeared as a singing chicken in the new segment that focuses on imagination and math skills, is among the many Broadway, film and television stars who have taken trips to "Sesame Street" and performed alongside Elmo, Big Bird and their friends.
